Spišské Vlachy-based aluminum smelter Heneken Melts (Milan Hudoba and Adrián Stolár) more than tripled its net profit to €1m and its sales jumped by 90% to €27.2m last year. The growth is driven by the €12m investments the smelter has seen since 2017 and a dramatic rise in aluminum prices on global markets. It processes car aluminum disks and recycles ferrotitanium in an argon atmosphere.

The group also owns a zinc foundry in Košice and an electric wire manufacturer, Laná. It is building new foundries in Serbia and Turkey.
