Government is not planning special assistance for ferroalloy producer OFZ

The Economy Ministry is not planning special assistance for ferroalloy producer OFZ, which is reallocating production to Uzbekistan due to high energy prices. OFZ claims that European competitors have much cheaper electricity from their governments and can gradually move all seven of its furnaces to non-EU countries. The Ministry pointed out that OFZ was already losing money before last year's energy price hike.
