Government eases power and gas price hikes for households

Gas prices for households will increase by 20-42% plus inflation next year, said Economy Minister Richard Sulík. SPP, the state gas utility, will offer a 4-year contract in which the price will increase by 20% plus inflation next year and only by inflation in 2024-25. SPP will also offer a 1-year contract where the price will rise by 42% plus inflation. According to him, innogy (VSE) will have the same offer.
