GGE changed its name to Uced Slovensko

Energy group GGE changed its name to Uced Slovensko last week. The group was sold by Ivan Kmotrík in 2015 to British investment fund Infracapital, which sold it last year to Czech group Creditas (Pavel Hubáček). It includes energy supplier Elgas, Tepláreň Považská Bystrica, and central heating systems in six Slovak cities. Current investment projects include a boiler room in Sereď and a battery storage facility in Považská Bystrica. Creditas owns Uced, the largest alternative energy distributor in Czechia.
