First Kočner judge sentenced
A court approved a plea bargain for the first of the judges who assisted mobster Marian Kočner. Ex-judge Miriam Repáková received a 2-year suspended sentence, as she cooperated with the police and confessed that she decided the Technopol case on Kočner's instructions. Kočner thus stole a €18m building and did not even have to pay bribes to Repáková. In total, 13 judges are facing charges in Kočner cases.
