Electricity‑sharing system grows in popularity

Slovakia’s electricity‑sharing system currently includes 3,340 consumption points and 1,576 production points. A typical example is a household with a photovoltaic system sharing electricity with relatives’ apartments in other regions. Such energy groups can reduce their electricity bills; in a record August 2025, they exchanged 3,800 MWh.
