Cisco to acquire Sli.do

US tech giant Cisco announced it will acquire the Slovak firm Slido (Peter Komorník), a Q&A and polling platform for live and virtual meetings and events. Slido will be incorporated into the communication platform Cisco Webex, and the new owner will keep developing it as a standalone product. Slido’s sales soared 54% last year to €8m and during the pandemic, between March and September, the number of its users doubled.
