Car sales plummeted in September
New car registrations in the EU were up 7% annually three quarters into the year, but were down 23% in September alone, reported Acea. This was the weakest September since 1995 as the chip crisis is slowing down car production. In Slovakia, car sales were up 6% annually in January-September, to 58,719 vehicles, and September sales were down 9%, at 5,797.
