Car production in Slovakia rose 13% to 744,000 vehicles in January-September, Acea data show. Across Europe, growth was only 3% (-5% in Germany), although production fell by 30% over the same period last year. The car output is therefore 3m lower compared to 1-3Q 2019. The Slovak automotive sector output, including 350 suppliers and four car plants, was 10% higher annually in the first three quarters. The limited car production results in increased prices of new and used vehicles.
