Apartment sales remain low and prices are growing

In Bratislava, 285 new apartments were sold in the first quarter, slightly more than the 213 in the last quarter of 2023, according to data from developer Bencont. In 1Q22, 550 units and in 1Q21 700 were sold. The average price of apartments on offer rose 6% annually to €4,866 per sqm, as more premium projects hit the market. Most of the existing projects did not change their prices over the past two years. The number of new apartments on offer remained unchanged at 3,260. This year, Bencont expects sales to recover and prices to stagnate. Supply remains relatively low and real wage growth will support demand.
