Almost half of Slovaks enjoy their work
Almost half of Slovaks enjoy their work and another 21% have a positive emotional relationship to it, according to a Grafton survey. The situation is very similar in Czechia. Employees in retail and marketing feel the most love for their work, while production ’blue-collar’ workers the least. They are most often dissatisfied because of pay, stress, and overwork. 41% believe that meaningful work is more important than pay. Although Slovaks are satisfied with their work, 68% think that life in Slovakia is bad (only 42% in Czechia).
