Regulator RÚ will complete the 5G frequency auction in coming days, zive.sk sources say. Neither new entrants nor the small mobile phone operator 4ka are interested in the frequencies, and the three large existing operators, Orange, Telekom, and O2 will split all the frequencies. RÚ has already auctioned off some frequencies (1,800 MHz), is starting to auction off others today (900 MHz) and will launch auction for the key band (700 MHz) on Friday or Monday. It expects the auction’s yield at tens of millions euros.
