UniCredit Bank offers 0.39% mortgage interest rate

UniCredit Bank cut the mortgage interest rate fixed for three years from the previous 0.59% to a new Slovak all-time low of 0.39%. The 10-year rate goes down from 1.09% to 0.89%. To qualify, clients must buy expensive credit insurance. In recent months, several banks have increased their mortgage rates and re-introduced fees for processing loan requests. Cheap ECB funds may lead other banks to cut their mortgage rates, too.
