PM Igor Matovič (OĽaNO) backed down and allowed the public health authority ÚVZ to open stores on Sunday. He says SaS might leave the ruling coalition if he insists on keeping stores closed on Sundays (party leader Richard Sulík did not confirm this). The coalition is still discussing a potential restriction on opening hours. Many stores opened yesterday, some with shorter hours.
