Economy is opening faster
Thanks to the low number of Covid-19 cases, economy opening will proceed with the 2nd and 3rd phases on May 6. All stores (except shopping centers), hotels, restaurants’ outdoor terraces, hairdressers, taxis, and churches will open. The date for the 4th phase (shopping centers, restaurants, cinemas, cultural and sporting events, and schools) has not been set, but is planned in two weeks at the earliest. A gradual school opening is being considered―based on the age of children or the parents’ occupation (kids of healthcare professionals, teachers, and policemen will be prioritized). Czechia, Austria, Germany, and Denmark are already opening their schools.
