Tough new measures against Covid-19, plus delay in income tax return
Eleven new Covid-19 cases were reported in Slovakia on Thursday, bringing the total to 21. The government imposed tough new measures for the coming 14 days: it banned the arrival of all foreigners, and only people with permanent or temporary residence will be allowed into Slovakia; it closed all international airports (Bratislava, Košice and Poprad) for passenger transport; international rail and bus transport will stop, too; all people coming from abroad will be quarantined. All schools will be closed, as well as bars, ski resorts, and water parks. Only grocery stores will be allowed to open in shopping centers over the weekend.
Finance Minister Ladislav Kamenický (Smer) will today announce a delay in filing income tax returns from March 31 by three months, say sources of the N daily.
