Shorter waiting times for STK car checks

The Transport Ministry again changed the rules for cars’ technical condition and emission checks to reduce waiting times. Last year, car owners had to wait several weeks for an appointment. Now, the Ministry softened qualification requirements for STK personnel and reduced fines for ’overlooking’ rule violations. Those importing old cars may face some issues, as STK may refuse to acknowledge foreign documents on the checks.
