Hateful Blaha has the most viral anti-system site
The Facebook profile of Smer MP Ľuboš Blaha is the most viral anti-system site on the Slovak internet, according to an analysis by infosecurity.sk. Smer has spent €12,000 this year sponsoring Blaha’s posts full of hate and conspiracy theories. This helped him overtake the fake news sites of Zem a Vek, Hlavné správy and even sites of the extremist ĽSNS party. In October, Blaha’s posts included 101 anti-system narratives. Sponsored posts are targeted at older audiences outside Bratislava. Smer, though, has spent much more promoting the posts of Peter Pellegrini this year: €50,000. His positive posts are targeted at younger folk, also in Bratislava.
