Sandberg Capital condemned investment stimulus to Norwegian IT firm Visma

Local group Sandberg Capital, owner of IT companies Swan and Solitea, condemned the Economy Ministry’s proposal to provide a €3.8m investment stimulus to Norwegian IT firm Visma, which aims to create 200 jobs for programmers in Košice. “The provision of a stimulus to a Norwegian IT firm at a time when all local IT firms are complaining of a shortage of IT professionals would hurt all Slovak IT firms,“ reckons Michal Rybovič, partner of Sandberg Capital. Košice has a large cluster of IT firms.
