PSA wants to make another electric car in Trnava
The PSA car plant in Trnava recently launched the production of its first electric car model, the Peugeot e208, and now might win the production of another electric car model by Citroën, the plant announced. The new PSA plant in Morocco is also competing for the model. The Slovak plant’s key disadvantage is labor costs, which are already higher than in Portugal and on par with Spain. Slovak power prices are considerably higher than in France. Portugal and Spain offer much greater direct support for new investments.
