Economy no longer overheating

Just 2% economic growth in the second quarter of this year was not a one-off event, according to a central bank NBS. The economy’s overheating, evident in the previous three years, is waning. The key challenge is the automotive sector that faces soft demand in China and major changes stemming from electric cars. It remains to be seen how the local automotive sector will cope with these challenges.
