Ex-Deputy Justice Minister Monika Jankovská denies bribes from Marian Kočner

Ex-Deputy Justice Minister Monika Jankovská (Smer) denied allegations that in return for bribes, she rigged a court ruling at the Bratislava V District Court in favor of mobster Marian Kočner. She says the transcripts of her communication with Kočner, which includes 6,000 messages in 2017-18, is fake. Justice Minister Gábor Gál said the police should immediately charge Jankovská. Last week, she returned as a judge to the Bratislava Regional Court under rather suspicious circumstances.
