Jaguar Land Rover received the first half of investment stimuli
The Economy Ministry is sending Jaguar Land Rover car maker €65.4m as the first half of the investment stimuli for its new plant in Nitra. In exchange for the €129.8m stimulus, the car maker promised to invest €1.4bn into a new plant with annual capacity of 150,000 cars and create 2,800 jobs. The plant already employs 2,600, makes the LR Discovery model and is getting ready for the production of the LR Defender model. Besides the stimulus, the state also spent €500m on the Nitra industrial park.
