A group around Ján Sabol, namely the Progress Trading company, is buying 12 Oktan petrol stations in Eastern Slovakia from Ukraine national Mykhaylo Olevskyi. The group began trading with fuels via its company Solar 2009 three years ago. Last year, together with businessman Jozef Fabo, it acquired fuel trader Petroltrans and, from Slavia Capital, fuel tanks in Trebišov. After the most recent acquisition, Sabol will control wholesale, retail, and production as well as storage of fuels, with annual sales well in excess of €500m.

Sabol’s Envien Group makes bio-additives to petrol and diesel in its plants in Slovakia, Czechia, Hungary and Croatia.
