TV Markíza keeps its position of market leader

The TV group Markíza (also including channels Doma and Dajto) kept its leading position on the local TV market with a 28.5% share of the 12-54 age group in January-May this year. The Joj group (also including Plus and Wau) followed with a 20.3% market share. The public broadcaster RTVS (12.5%) came third. The Slovak TV groups, including the TA3 news channel, control only 62.7% of the local market. Foreign TV channels account for the rest.
