Insurer Colonnade (previously QBE) is selling its 5,000 car accident insurance policies to another insurer, Uniqa. The price was not disclosed. Colonnade is not leaving the Slovak market but will focus solely on industrial risk insurance. Last year, its non-life insurance premiums came to €26.4m, of which car insurance accounted for €2.9m. Last year, Uniqa underwrote premiums totaling €97.9m, of which vehicle insurance (excluding third party liability motor insurance) brought €35.4m.
