Penta is not willing to sell its Bory hospital to the state
The state wants to have a new university hospital in Bratislava. It will either build one in Rázsochy, or will purchase Penta’s hospital in Bory and will expand it by half, said PM Peter Pellegrini. He will talk to Penta and wants to have its standpoint in May. The state will complete its hospital in 2024 at the soonest, two years after Penta.
Penta is not willing to sell its hospital, was the immediate response of Penta’s partner Eduard Maták. He says the state is very ineffective in running hospitals and that Penta’s hospital can co-exist with the one the state is building nearby, in Rázsochy. The government, though, is concerned there won’t be enough doctors and nurses for both hospitals.
