Low-quality crude oil in the Druzhba pipeline
Belarus accused Russia of putting 0.7m tons of low-quality crude oil into the Druzhba pipeline. The oil, with a too-high chlorine content, has damaged the Mozyr oil refinery in Belarus. The state-run Transpetrol, which runs the pipeline in Slovakia, says the oil in question has not yet arrived in Slovakia. Slovnaft, which processes 5.6m tons of Russian oil annually, has not reported any issues as yet. Russia admitted the issue and says it has already fixed it.
