Bratislava plant of Volkswagen paid average wage of €1,954 in 2018

Negotiations have begun over the new collective agreement in the Bratislava plant of Volkswagen. The current agreement expires on August 31, 2019. The average wage in the plant, excluding managers, was €1,954 last year, double the average in the economy. Labor unions’ priority will be a long-term employment guarantee. In turn, the plant intends to improve its productivity 30% by 2025.
