The government approved the Electromobility Action Plan

The government approved the Electromobility Action Plan with various stimuli for the purchase of electric cars. The Economy Ministry will allocate €5m to subsidize their purchase; the cars’ depreciation period will be two years, as opposed to the standard four years; the cars will be allowed to use bus lanes and park in low-emission zones; an easier approval process for charging stations and obligation to build them with each new parking lot will facilitate their construction. The government wants cities to start defining the low-emission zones this year.
