PM Pellegrini wants to cut taxes too

PM Peter Pellegrini (Smer) will come up with his own tax cut proposals at the Coalition Council. While the SNS wants to cut the corporate income tax, Pellegrini will propose cutting taxes for workers. He agrees with SNS’ proposal to waive the TV license fee for seniors and cut VAT for printed media. He argues any cut in VAT on food would just increase retailers’ profits, and a corporate tax cut would increase dividend outflow abroad.
