Expensive mobile data in Slovakia

British company Cable compared prices for 1 GB of mobile phone data in 230 countries at the end of 2018. It found the lowest price in India ($0.26) and the highest in Zimbabwe ($75.20). Slovakia ranked 121st with a price of $5.56. Neighboring Poland ranked 21st with $1.32, Austria 59th ($1.90) and Czechia 107th ($4.91). Hungary has the most expensive data in the region at $6.60. The comparison has obvious limitations—operators offer a different mix of data and voice, and pure data plans are more expensive than mixed ones.
