Saneca is planning an investment totaling tens of millions of euros in Hlohovec
Drug maker Saneca, controlled by the investment group Wood&Co, is planning an investment totaling tens of millions of euros into the production of injection solutions in its plant in Hlohovec. Saneca posted losses in 2015-17 and its sales have been declining. Wood&Co hired a new CEO, Matúš Kútny, who managed to develop the production of injection solutions in another local drug plant, HBM Pharma in Martin, and increased the plant’s sales as well as profits.
