Verex has over €100m in sales

The local group Verex, owned by brothers Pavol and Milan Mikušiak together with Vladimír Krč and Tadeusz Frackowiak, employs 700 and has over €100m annual sales. In the past three years, it has posted €5m annual profits. Its two main lines of business are a chain of grocery stores (CBA Verex; annual sales of €54m) and stores with electrical installation material for builders (Verex-Elto; €48m). It also owns several per cent of the shares in Tatry mountain resorts and the water world in Bešeňová. It has a small egg farm (Hydina Holding; €4m). Its management is gradually being taken over by the sons of the founders.
