Jaguar Land Rover is launching production on October 25
The new Nitra car plant of Jaguar Land Rover announced it will launch production on October 25. Trial production has been underway for several months now, but all cars produced, around 500 of them, will be demolished. The €1.4bn plant employs 1,400 workers that plan to produce 150,000 Land Rover Discovery cars next year. By 2020, the plant’s workforce as well as production capacity should double.
