Cuts in working time among priorities for OZ Kovo

Cuts in working time in production companies is among next year’s collective bargaining priorities for OZ Kovo, one of the largest unions in the country, says Emil Machyna, head of OZ Kovo. He is taking inspiration from Germany where unions managed to negotiate cuts of 5-10 hours a week in many production firms. One of the alternatives is cutting legal overtime from the current 150 hours a year. The Labor Ministry has already indicated willingness to discuss the issue.
