Dôvera not using bailiffs for over a year
Health insurer Dôvera, owned by Penta, stopped using bailiffs to collect claims as of April 1, 2017. At that time, new legislation introduced random allocation of cases to bailiffs, preventing Dôvera from choosing its preferred partners. The local chamber of bailiffs SKE condemned this step as pressuring the government to cancel the random allocation. Last year, Dôvera created a €117m adjusting entry against its uncollected claims.
