Robert Kaliňák has successfully undergone a lie detector test
Ex-minister Robert Kaliňák has successfully undergone a lie detector test in relation to the alleged kidnap of Vietnamese national Trinh Xuan Thanh from Bratislava, using a government plane, last June. He formulated the questions himself, and had them privately evaluated. The results are not entirely credible. Slovak courts do not allow lie detector results in evidence, due to low reliability. The media have published the testimony of anonymous police officers according to whom Kaliňák provided assistance to the Vietnamese secret service in putting Thanh on the government plane. Kaliňák denies this, and now has lie detector results to prove it.
