Daniel Krátky controls assets totaling €90m

Businessman Daniel Krátky and his Slovenské farmárske družstvo has stakes in farms that cultivate 30,000 ha of land. This makes him the largest farming group in Slovakia. This includes 15 farms around Myjava, Piešťany, Trenčín, Zvolen, Krupina, and Prešov. He has a majority stake in most farms, has a 50% stake in some, and is in a minority position in one. Total sales come to €30m annually, and EBITDA profit was €8m last year. Krátky also owns regional media in Košice, and is active in legal and financial services, travel, and logging. He estimates his assets at €90m, and employs 1,000 people.
