Slovakia is among countries that have improved business environment the most

Slovakia is among the TOP5 EU countries that have improved their business environment the most over the past 14 years, according to the World Bank report Doing Business in the EU 2018. It assesses the ease of doing business in 25 cities of five countries, including Slovakia. In real estate ownership registration and claiming contractual obligations, Slovakia is even better off compared to the union’s average. By contrast, the report sees a large scope for improvement in access to the power grid and granting building permits.
