Bödör makes money on highways

Solum Company of Peter Brath, close to oligarch Miroslav Bödör, is buying the land for a future rest area at the R1 speedway near Nitra. It is offering €10 per sqm and it seems likely that the state will soon purchase the land for €40. Solum is to make €1m on the deal. It is unclear why the land is being purchased by Solum and not directly by the state. Solum says it has a mandate from Granvia, which runs the R1.
