State-run Slovak Investment Holding invests in GA Drilling
The state-run Slovak Investment Holding (SIH) became one of the investors in the Slovak hi-tech firm GA Drilling, which develops plasma-based milling and deep-drilling technology. The investment volume and ownership stake has not been disclosed. SIH is financed by EU funds. GA Drilling is offering its technology to crude oil and natural gas drilling firms; its first product is for closing wells. It has already invested around €30m.
