German car parts maker Mubea plans to build a new plant making transmission components in Kežmarok. The €10m investment will create 360 new jobs in a 3-shift operation. Construction of the plant should be launched this fall, and production is planned in a year. Mubea, with worldwide sales of €2bn, has five plants in Czechia. It plans to apply for assistance available to investors in underdeveloped regions.
