Ryanair could leave Bratislava for Vienna

New management of the Vienna airport is discussing cooperation with Irish no-frills carrier Ryanair. The carrier has one of its bases in Bratislava where around 20% of its clients are from Austria. Ryanair has been trying to offer flights from Vienna for a long time, but the airport had been refusing low cost airlines in the past. Hungarian carrier Wizz Air is launching flights from Vienna and is canceling its base in Košice as a result. It seems likely that if Ryanair starts to offer flights from Vienna, it will limit its offer in Bratislava.
