Chopin hotel has a new owner

Austria’s largest hotel chain, Vienna House, is the new owner of the Vienna House Easy Hotel near Bratislava’s airport (formerly the Chopin hotel). It acquired the hotel from Strabag Real Estate. The new owner had been managing the hotel for nine years. The 166-room hotel will now undergo renovation. It opened in 2009 after €14m investment. In 2016 it posted a €0.4m loss on €2.1m in sales.
