Constellium Extrusion plans €27m investment in Slovakia
Aluminum profile maker Constellium Extrusion plans a €27m investment in Slovakia that will create 80 new jobs. Its existing plant in Levice will double production capacity to 37,500 tons annually and the company will also build a new plant in Žilina. The Levice plant makes aluminum profiles for the automotive, mechanical engineering, construction, and energy sectors. In 2016, it posted a €15.2m net profit and its sales rose 14% to €36.6m. The new plant in Žilina, in CTPark, will launch production for the automotive sector this summer.
