4ka repaid Bank of China loan
Telecoms operator Swan Mobile reached an agreement with Bank of China to remove the lien the Chinese have held since the summer of 2017 on the network and client revenues of the mobile phone operator 4ka. Swan Mobile took a loan from the Chinese bank to purchase 4ka’s technology from another Chinese firm ZTE. The lien amounted to €24m. The firm would not say how it repaid the loan. It is possible it used proceeds from the sale of its .sk domain administrator, SK-Nic. British firm CentralNic Group has paid €26m recently to acquire the administrator.
