The state paid €19.5m to the Ditec, Anext and HP companies for a project called Integrated Service Point for Citizens. Its only result has been the issuance of extracts from the real estate cadaster, criminal registry, and business registry by the state postal provider, SP. Interestingly, SP provided the extracts before, using another system. The new system issues about 50,000 extracts a month. The state is going to pay €5m for its 4-year maintenance. Another interesting fact is that starting in May, the state will not require the extracts from individuals and companies, as the individual authorities will get the data themselves. At that point, the tremendously expensive system will be useless, points out Slovensko.Digital.
