ZVS holding will invest €15m in ammunition production
ZVS holding, a joint venture of the Czech Strnad family and state-owned DMD Holding, plans to invest €15m in its Snina plant that makes ammunition for howitzers. Upon completion at the beginning of 2024, the plant will increase production 5-fold to 100,000 projectiles per year and the number of employees will rise by 140 to 220. The plant will produce steel projectile bodies that are finalized in Dubnica. The company had €40m sales last year.
