Yacht rental site Boatround more than doubled its sales in 2020

Slovak-Czech yacht rental website Boatround (Pavel Pribiš and Jana Escher) more than doubled its sales to €10m last year as the pandemic increased the demand for holidays spent in isolation. The website is among the TOP5 largest in the world in its category, offering 16,000 yachts in 1,200 locations. In 2017 it landed a €350,000 investment from Crowdberry and a year later an €800,000 investment from state-run Slovak Investment Holding. Travel agency Pelikan has recently started offering their yachts.
